Biblical Declarations to Stop Negativity

We are taking our thoughts captive by replacing the lies from the enemy with the truth from our Creator!

You were fearfully and wonderfully made. You were created in HIS image. You were made for such a time as this. The enemy aka the devil aka Satan aka Lucifer loves to kill, steal and destroy. He wants you to be miserable and he wants to see you fail. All of that is how he slithers in, takes hold of you and hopes he can pull you away from God. We aren’t allowing that to happen. God loves you. Let’s squash Satan!

That’s why you have to put on the full Armor of God.

Let us help you buckle up your BELT OF TRUTH! To us here at Starkey & Bodhi, that’s what the 40 I AM’s help us to understand. The truth of God’s insurmountable love for you and me. There is so much more to it than that, but after years of being berated, this is where so many of us need the most help.

The 40 I Am’s are affirmations-but based from the Word of God. They are all scriptures that show just how much you are loved and worthy. We recommend you print these out and put them somewhere you can see them every day. If you read one (or a whole bunch of them) and you feel uneasy or yucky, pray on it. Ask God to reveal to you what it is about that particular declaration that doesn’t sit well with you. Highlight it if you need to. Journal it out. Find the lie that you or someone has told you so much that you believe it to be true. Toss that thought into the trash and replace it with the I Am that made you feel yucky about yourself. We suck. Humans are terrible and selfish. That’s how it’s been since the moment Adam and Eve ate the fruit off THE tree. That’s why we have our Savior, Jesus. He loves us. He loves you. Sit on that for a minute. Jesus died for YOU because He loves YOU!

Please print them out for you and share with others that may need them. Survivor or not, we guarantee they need this! Let’s say a quick prayer before we begin to read these 40 I Am Declarations.

Heavenly Father, we come to you right now to thank you for this technology that allows us to serve others. Lord, we just want to help your children who feel so low that they can’t seem to find their way to standing. God, we know you are a God of forgiveness and a God of redemption. Father, we also know that you love us so very much. So much so that you sent Jesus to die for all of our sins. We know we are not worthy of Jesus’ sacrifice but we thank you for it. This world is so cruel and people we think we know and trust have hurt us deeply. We have been physically and emotionally beaten down. We feel disgusted and scared and ashamed and confused and angry. Lord, we know that you know all of our emotions, but sometimes we don’t. Our human body’s get so confused by the betrayal that our survival instincts kick in and we quit feeling. God, today I ask that you show us the truth we need to see today; which lie needs to be exposed and then replaced with your loving-kindness. We thank you for your grace and your mercy and we thank you for your truth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
