Our Faith as Christians

First, let’s define Christian.

Christian simply means we believe in Jesus Christ. The Savior. The Messiah. The Son of God. That Jesus came to earth as man to live life as man and show us HOW to act; God in a man so our human mind can comprehend it easier. Jesus was tortured and killed as the Ultimate Sacrifice so we can get to heaven even easier. God made it fool-proof if we follow His instructions. You just have to open your heart.

The most important part of Christianity: the only way to get to God in heaven is through Christ. Knowing HIM. Believing that we are in need of a Savior and that HE is that! John 14:6 ” Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'”

We realize we SUCK. We have all done awful things at some point or other. That’s why we need a Savior. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of eternal life is eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord.”
Another amazing promise is this, “For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall never die but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.” John 3:16-17.

HOW POWERFUL IS THAT?! Jesus loves you.

He knows that if you are HERE on this page, you are hurting. He tells YOU, in Matthew 11:28-30, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
